Carlos Payán - Concert to present the work done during the residency - 06/03 - 8.00pm

Carlos Payán invites you to a public presentation of his work after completing his residency. 
 
Carlos's work focuses on the 'classical' double bass and its multitude of sonic possibilities as a solo instrument, which is still largely unknown to the general public. 
Carlos would like to share with you new sounds and new pieces.
The pieces on offer are new works composed for solo double bass, with an experimental aesthetic. The different works will take you through tonality, atonality and modality, sound effects with bow and pizzicato, whose structure is sometimes unpredictable, but at the same time defined.
